ERRATA

This Changes Everything went through a rigorous fact-checking process, but it is inevitable that a book of this length and information density will contain errors, however small. We are committed to correcting all errors in future editions, but also as they come up on this site. If you catch an error, let us know.

Here’s what we have found so far:

–p. 26: “Have You Ever Seen a Moose?” should be “Looking For a Moose

–p. 99: The following sentence contains a mistake: “Many of the countries with the highest commitments to renewable energy are ones that have managed to keep large parts of their electricity sectors in public (and often local) hands, including the Netherlands, Austria, and Norway.” It should read: “Many of the countries with the highest commitments to renewable energy are ones that have managed to keep large parts of their electricity sectors in public (and often local) hands, including Austria and Norway.”

–p. 144: The following sentence contains a mistake: “But this good news does not address the fact that methane emissions have been rising over the past decade, or the fact that U.S. methane emissions are very likely underestimated, since leakage has been extremely poorly accounted for.” It should read: “But this good news does not address the fact that U.S. methane emissions are very likely underestimated, since leakage has been extremely poorly accounted for.” Note that this was not corrected due to a production error during the publication process.

–p. 479, endnote #48: The following citation should not be in the endnote: “HUGELY DAMAGING: Anderson, ‘Climate Change Going Beyond Dangerous,’ pp. 18–21

–p. 491, endnote #8: “Ibid.” should be “Wilson, ‘Wildlife Shares Nest with Profit.’”

–p. 491, endnote #9:  “Ibid.” should be “Stephens and Ottaway, ‘How a Bid to Save a Species Came to Grief.’”
